Engagement Party Venue in La Mesa
Brick + Laurel is a private engagement party venue at 5171 Guild St in La Mesa, CA, in East County San Diego, for celebrations of 15 to 50 guests. The space is an intimate warehouse with whitewashed exposed brick, natural light, a bar area and a chalkboard welcome table. Couples and families can hire any caterer or bring their own food and drinks, including beer and wine, and parties can run until midnight. The space and layout
Brick + Laurel is one open warehouse room with whitewashed shiplap and exposed brick walls with natural light, so it feels warm by day and glows at night with candles and string lights. The bar area anchors one side of the room as a drinks, cider or coffee station. The chalkboard welcome table greets guests at the door with your menu, a gratitude prompt or a seating chart. Because you rent the whole venue, there's no shared dining room, no second party and no one waiting for your table.
The space and layout
Brick + Laurel is one open warehouse room, so your whole group stays together for the toast. Whitewashed brick and natural light make a clean backdrop that photographs well by day, and the bar area becomes the drinks station at night. The chalkboard welcome table at the entrance is ready for your names, the date, and a "we said yes" message. Because the room is a blank, light canvas, the black-and-white look works with almost any wedding palette you have in mind. What's included
